Strategic Account Manager - Life Sciences

 Overview:

Our client is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to support large-scale capital projects within Academic, Government, and Biopharma organizations. This role is focused on developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders while managing complex sales opportunities from initial engagement through project completion.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling capital equipment into life sciences environments and a proven ability to navigate multi-level sales processes involving technical, operational, and executive decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships within Academic, Government, and Biopharma organizations.
  • Identify and drive large capital project opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, procurement teams, and executive leadership.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and achieve territory sales objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Capital equipment sales experience required.
  • Experience within Life Sciences, Biopharma, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Laboratory, Cleanroom, or Sterilization environments preferred.
  • Proven success managing large strategic accounts and complex sales cycles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • $210K–$225K Total Compensation
